This week for my project i watched and tried several very basic mine craft mod tutorials.  These included minor re-textures and an auto clicker. Re-creating and implementing the mods was not very difficult in its self. The biggest challenge i ran into was that my personal machine is very weak in d struggles to run mine craft with anything more than simple mods. This is very limiting, because my future goal for this project is to run more complex mods.

We are still in the preparation phase of our project, doing research. This week we chose to research how mine craft is constructed and by extension of that how mine craft mods are constructed. The creator of mine craft, Notch has written several blog posts about how him and his team created  the game, these where very helpful in understanding the mindset in which the game is written. As well as Notchs blogs I also looked at various youtube videos and reddit posts discussing the games most popular mods and how they where created.
